Coard Benson
|
Born June 10, 1972 at Easton Memorial, Coard grew
up in Easton. He graduated Country Day School
in 1986 and went on to St. James Episcopal School
in Hagerstown, Maryland. Through Coard’s high
school experience he participated in school life
through groups such as the Vestry, as an Usher
for the school’s congregation, prefect council and
disciplinary committee. In 1990 he was enrolled
in Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia
from which he graduated with a BA in Economics.
After a 2-year stay in Jackson, WY, Coard returned
to Easton where he worked for two years in
marketing and in 1998 Coard began a career in Real
Estate.
Since returning to the Eastern Shore, Coard has
been active with local charitable organizations.
He has been a committee member for the Talbot
County chapter of Ducks Unlimited for the past
4 years, a member of Easton’s Rotaract Club and a
board member of Pickering Creek Audubon Center,
where he currently holds the office of Treasurer.
