'Penderyn' overlooks the pristine Wye River near historic St. Michaels. The majestic red brick manor house is situated on a 32-plus acre peninsula with some 22,500 square feet of Georgian splendor. A marble foyer, formal drawing room, and 11 exquisite fireplaces adorn this stately home.

A 157-foot Bailey dock and multiple slips, a pool house and swimming pool grace the spectacular formal grounds.

The property was named Penderyn after a village in Wales. Penderyn, pronounced Pen-dare-in, means "bird's head" in Welsh. The name was chosen because the house sits on a peninsula that juts into the Wye River which was named after the Wye River in Wales and because it is home to numerous species of birds.

The 60-foot long hall/gallery is lined with sculptured busts, urns and ginger jars.

Each fireplace front throughout the house is an antique piece obtained from Country places in England. The exception is the fireplace in the family room which comes from a 16th-century French monastery.

The library or piano room has a
wall covering made in China.

Fabulous and cozy Bar/Club Room is located off the kitchen.

The Conservatory is located at the end of a wing on the poolside of the house. White painted woodwork is against the soft green color of the walls. The high, vaulted ceiling has been handpainted with tropical birds, plants and flowers.

The bedrooms are on the second floor and most have separate balconies.  Several have faux painted walls in pastel shades.
